Objective of importing animals

• To make Sungei Buloh a more exciting and interesting place 
• Visitors have a wider variety of animals to see at Sungei Buloh
• Visitors have a more enjoyable experience there, seeing animals that are 'newly imported'
• Thus this creates a 'pull' factor to attract more people to come

Why import flying animals?

• To ensure that the ecosystem of Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve is not greatly affected by the changes we make
• Have a more variety of birds in Sungei Buloh that visitors can see
• If we have more animals that live in the water, those animals might not be used to the different pH levels or other substances that are found in the water
• The newly imported animals might pollute the water, which is one of the most important preserved things in Sungei Buloh
• We are choosing flying animals that lives in similar habitats
